Coffee Shops are an important part of every community, and Common Sense is starting off with a great vibe. Other shops in the area have begun to lose their personalities and becoming more of a “business” than a gathering place, so it’s nice to see that this new shop has potential to restore some of that energy. I ordered a simple drink: A cappuccino with some vanilla in it. I must say - I was impressed with how such a simple drink can taste so smooth and wonderful. I can’t wait for the warmer months to come, as I look forward to Common Sense opening their bay doors and letting in some natural breezes. This location is simple right now, but there’s so much opportunity for yard games and small events. Common sense will be my new go-to for coffee. I hope you might choose to give them the opportunity to become a favorite for you as well.

common sense is such a great addition to the Lufkin community. I have been in several times and every coffee drink I have tried has been wonderful. The gift shop offers unique items that you can’t find just anywhere. I even picked up a cute pillow for my guest room. What will keep me coming back though, besides the yummy coffee, is the customer service. The owners and staff take the time with each customer making them feel welcome and offering suggestions to the customers who have a hard time deciding like me. Highly recommend common sense!

Adorable little coffee shop with a small selection of other niche products available like plants, patches & stickers. I would like to see their menu grow soon to offer more flavors and maybe some food items but for a small business only being open a month, I think this place is great. I hope they stick around a while. I went around 630am on a Saturday morning after work so there was no one else there yet.

Both times I have been, the workers are so nice and helpful! I've gotten the Maple Bourbon each time and it's my new favorite coffee. The coffee cake was yummy and this morning I had a cinnamon roll that was also fantastic!! I also really love the cans, I plan on getting two the next time I go, one for the morning and one to put in the work fridge for that 3PM pick me up. I may have a new favorite coffee shop! 💜

Let’s talk about the coffee - Absolutely Exceptional! Thoughtfully crafted like they genuinely care about what they’re serving. You can tell they value quality. If you’re looking for a spot with charm, great coffee, and genuinely kind people, this coffee shop is a must visit.

Found this place via TikTok, has super friendly service, loved the drink recommendations from the barista. Love the old building that it’s in!! I got the scarlet strawberry tea, iced. And my wife got a salted caramel latte thingy. Both extremely good!
